It’s a lingering feeling,

I can’t put my finger on it. Follows me,

Everywhere.

Never revealing itself.

I feel it in the background,

It’s growing, but I can’t make it out.

It is permeating my heart,

Staining my bones,

Contaminating my thoughts.

Yet it remains a shapeless, formless feeling.

I can’t seem to tell what it is.
